Vintage "Silver Mountain" Tin Locomotive, c.1950's

Made in Japan by Modern Toys, and measuring approximately 16" long by 5" tall by 3 1/4" wide.  This Locomotive operates by friction, and has an opening for 3 size D batteries which would probably operate a light in front of the driver in the open cab.  I believe the light is supposed to be the furnace.  The driver's head is plastic, and he moves from upright to the left, as the train moves.
